My first hatch appx. 4 months ago was very successful, but I had borrowed an older model incubator from a friend. I purchased the Farmers Innovators Pro Series 4250 because it was a circulating air incubator w/ egg turner. I have had it on for about 8 hours now, and the temperature reading seems unstable-- and it is not displaying the same temp as the small thermometer that is placed on top of the eggs. Any suggestions for getting the right temp? Is there a certain place to lay the sensor wires for temp and/or humidity? The plugs in the top remain in until hatching, right? Thanks for any help that you can offer!
