Do you think it will be ok to use in a 2 gallon bucket, on the direction it talked about what wattage you need for max amount but does not say how little the bucket can be. It says a 250w for a 5 gal
Should I get a 5 gal bucket and fit it with horizontal nipples or just use my current 2 gal one?
The directions say it will only turn on when temps get below freezing so I'm thinking it should be ok in our 2 gal waterer
What do you think?

That says up to 25gl. It being thermostatically controlled it should work in any size bucket. How big is it? Just make sure it fits in the vessel your using.

It's bigger then I though but yes it will fit no problem

I have one of those red heaters for my POND, IT IS BIG ! Like would take up all of the top, almost.
I had it last year in my 100 gallon stock tank and it was steamy warm. I spoiled my Koi that year ;)

Hmm, description says it is only 6” diameter? Guess I will find out if it fits my bucket when amazon delivers later today. Good thing they have easy returns! :)
