Congratulations Sunshine thats great
'I'm on day 24 of taking the tablets and I haven't smoked in 8 days now Woohoo I feel so much better and being on champix I haven't had any cravings at all. I think they are the best thing since sliced bread. I have now started eating better too. Looks like I'm changing everything about me, well two things anyway lol I've lost 1 kilo so far from not eating bread or drinking milk, its alow carb diet called celebrity slim, I replace 2 meals a day with a shake and have a normal meal at night and 3 snacks though out the day and I'm having no trouble sticking to it, My doctor said that it could be the champix helping there too because it can change your taste and the food you crave I usually drink about 2 litres of milk a day and I love chocolate but so far I'm in control of what I'm craving, Except I' wouldn't mind a big slice of bread with heaps of butter on oit but I'm not doing it 'I'm not lol

Yea!!1 Keep it up guys. I lost count of months but i think I am around 5 months smoke free!!!

Congratulations!!!! 37 day is great. I'm now up to 15 days and still going strong, when I get a lil stressed like today(bloody hot water system) i feel like one but I don't. I went to the docs yesterday and he said my blood pressure was beautiful and my heart rate was 69 beats a minute. He said I'm doing great and congratulated me but I got in trouble for not going back to see him enough, oops I'm suppose to go back every 2 weeks to see if I still feel ok but I didn't go back until my tablets ran out. He said I have to come back because he is responsible if I hurt myself or someone else because the tablets have been linked to suicide and other mental problems. No side effects for me woohoo just vivid dreams which have been all good ones and I am actually enjoying them because I usually don't remember what I drempt at night

Congrats to all that have quit! I just hit my 2 year anniversery from quitting on Sept. 4th, and I think it was the hardest thing I ever accomplised. I used the Chantix prescription for the first 2 months, then self control after. Chantix really did the trick for me, and I did not have any side affects as some people have. I tried many times before to quit with other methods, but the Chantix was the only thing that worked for me. I recommend it highly!!!

I still have days when I want one, but that is normally only when I am very stressed out, or around someone who is smoking. I still love the smell of them burning, so I try to stay away from anyone who does smoke, but I do hate the smell of old cigerettes on people. Weird..LOL. But I know now since I hit that 2 year mark, I have it under control and know how to deal with it. It also helps now that I have my first grandaughter, and my first grandson who is due this Monday. Promises to them that I won't ever smoke again. Gives me even more reason to stay away from the cigerettes, and that helps me stay focused.

I recommend it highly too. Its a great med. Congratulations on being smoke free for two years I hope I can do it. I never want to smoke again, My kids are one of the reasons I gave up They are 6 and 14 and I want to see my grand kids one day.

3 months and I still haven't had a smoke, I guess I can now call myself a non-smoker woohoo. I feel so much better too, I've even joined the gym and go every day except the weekend and I'm really enjoying it. Those champix tablets really work They are great.

I'm really glad that Chantix has helped a lot of folks, but it nearly killed me! I took it for the 12 weeks as prescribed, and blamed my depression on the lack of cigarettes, and put up with the nausea and weird dreams "for the cause." But I have a totally new respect for depressed people; the real thing is NOT just feeling a little "blue." I was very close to suicidal, and that went on for another 12 weeks while it was still in my system -- until in desperation I bought some cigs. I'll just say, If you try Chantix, have someone monitor you 24/7 until you know you know you can stay sane!
