Hello,
This is my first post on the BYC community, although I've relied on information from you guys for the last 2 years.
I have a mouse infestation and am looking for an edge on the little critters...
I've done a lot of research on the subject of these ultrasonic pest devices and it appears that it should not cause any problems since they send out a frequency above 20,000Hz and chickens can't hear anything over 12,000Hz. With that being said, I wanted to ask some people with real world experience using these devices in a coop.
I would greatly appreciate feedback from anyone who has used, or is using these devices in your chicken coop! Did you/do you notice any change in chicken behavior, stress levels, egg production, Etc.?
Also, in advance please hold any comments about these devices being ineffective. I am well aware that people report mixed success rates with these, but I don't really care about that. They are cheap, and if it doesn't bother my girls it's worth a shot.
Thank you!
