Alright, cool.Thanks. This is not my chicken; I am posting for a friend. She is a newbie and I don't know if she could really tell what males specific feathering is. I may get a chance to go and see the birds in the next two weeks. We are pretty sure the one with the big wattles is a boy. Do you think the other is also a boy too? The two look so different, but I know that really doesn't matter .![]()
Thanks. These are not my chickens. I posted for a friend. I really don't think she cares what breed the chickens are, just if she has a bunch of boys or not. She knows that the brown one is a boy, but someone told us it is an easter egger. She was told it was an Ameracauna where she bought them, but she is okay with what ever they are. She just has a barnyard mix of chickens. Are you curious about the brown one? It looks like a crested cream legbar. The other two are white creasted black polish
Thanks, I know it will be a relief if the other is a girl. She already has 3 boys in her batch of pullets. She wasn't expecting any.Alright, cool.
Yea, I think the one with the big wattles is the only boy.![]()
Ouch... That sucks. I was in the same situation last fall, with my chicks. She already has 3 boys in her batch of pullets. She wasn't expecting any.
