I have black melanistics in the incubator. Due to hatch at different times. I've got maybe another 18 eggs I might be able to hold off a few more days.

I think I'm gunna have to incorporate a thermostat... It keeps spiking... And need to go by the pet store for a new hydrometer... I think this one is stuck on 80% (these might ba a loss... I'll leave them in there for now and candle them later on to see)

Well I was too early for the hatch-along but I got 9 out of 12 pheasants to hatch. I didn't think that was too bad for a first timer with pheasants

They are doing well.

Looking like it might come to that... Thinking about adding a second fan, and encasing this in wood to stabilize the effects of the temps from outside the chamber! Couple days of sketches and I'll get it figured out!

I don't think your too late . these birds lay so sporadic that I think will have a hatch along till spring is over

These will be the only ones I will probably hatch this year because now I've got to wait for them to grow up
