anything special for when its HOT outside?

besides keeping their water clean and cool, is there anything I can do to make my chickens as comfortable a possible? do they like water? I was thinking of running a low height sprinkler in the corner of their yard for a bit, or maybe a plastic kiddie pool with just a few inches of water...? a good idea or waste of time..lol

you can do both... my hens will stand in water- well I'm in FL so they have no choice right now...
