Anything such as barred partridge?

yep, also barred wheaten, but can be hard to see any evidence of barring on some barred wheaten hens. Roos are similar to crele(barred red duckwing) or that handsome roo above. bars are due to the sex linked barring gene. Barred rocks are solid black chickens with barring added.

pretty easy to make if you have partridges, only need to do one time cross between any barred bird with a partridge then breed the barred birds back to partridges until happy with results then breed barred partridges together...
 
i crossed a partridge penendensca roo with a california grey hen. the baby is a mix of colors and has a brown face. i can post pics if u want. its feet are greenish. i was just thinking maybe it will come out as a barred partridge when its feathers come in. i can see a very small feather on its wing coming in. ihe feathers black with brown stripes. cant get a pic of the feather its soo small

This mix would be a gold based roo with a silver based hen. The mix of colors leads me to believe that you have a homozygous gold/silver male. I am still new to these guesses. I just wish people would post the final photos of the chicks as adults.
