Hi Rareroo, and best of luck to you in your budding art career! I would also like to see some of your work posted here, your project sounds like a really good one. I am also an artist, I paint, show, sell, and would like to make a suggestion to you. As a "student" artist, perhaps working from others photographs is "acceptable", but if you wish to become a real proffessional, you will want to take your own photos, or make drawings / sketches from life, or better yet, a combination of the two. I do use lots of photo references in my work, but also spend a lot of time in personal observation of the "subject", and would not use anyone else's photos, as that is akin to allowing someone else to dictate composition, expression, etc., to you. I show in juried art shows, where work that is "taken" from a source not your own is not allowed. It would be a very good thing for you, (and would likely impress your teachers) if you could find a way to observe similar standards. Best to you.

Thanks for the advise. I will be doing a lot of work from my own birds, but I would still like to get reference pics from others. If you have any of your art, I would love to see it also.
We just got started back this year so I don't have anything on hand that is finished and poultry isn't the only thing I'm working on, but I will be sure to post pics of anything I do, for you all to see it.
Thanks again everyone, I really appreciate your help.
How about some quail dogs, and horses? use these crop these, alter color, I don't care! Please send me some images of your art! (weather mine or someone else photos) It's been a while since I even had the time to do things like drawl so see some art again would be nice.
PS the pics get bigger if you click on them! hope these help !
