Hi, my name is Colin Fly and I'm a reporter with the Associated Press based in Milwaukee.

I'm working on a story about backyard chicken enthusiasts, especially those who have chickens for the "pet aspect."

I need a few people across the country to talk to me for a few minutes about why they love their birds and funny stories about them.

I really need people located in cities vs. rural areas, especially cities where you need permits, etc, to have poultry in the backyard.

For me to use your comments, I'll need your full name, age, location and other occupation.

Please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] if you'd like to talk chickens.

Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear Colin that you don't want a person who lives in the country thoughts. I think that we are alot alike but the only diference is where we live. I hope you get what your looking for.

Probably most "urban" chicken keepers are covert, hence no one wanted to blow their cover....

If your not legal. He asks for you full name, and location all it takes is the
wrong person to read the story next thing you know you have someone
knocking on your door telling you to lose your chickens because your in violation.
