App freezing

The app seems to be freezing on me. When I change or select another page or thread sometimes the app just freezes. I get the circle for page loading but nothing else. I have been having to force stop the app which then causes it to play up so I uninstall and reinstall. I've had to do this several times now. My phone is android 8.0

How much room is left on your phone?
Try deleting some unused apps or photos or videos to free up a little space.

I don't think it's a space issue, I've got over 5 GB space left.

How about your internet connection...do you use your house WiFi or cell service internet?
Could you have been standing in an iffy connection spot?

I use both WiFi and outside data roaming. It seems it does it random.
