Apparently a Cornish Cross? I dont really think so.

The lady's are all Rhode Island Red's. But they said the rooster wasn't. Ive looked at some other breeds, and while he shares some characteristics with a RIR he has some of the same coloration as a New Hampshire all i know for sure is that he isnt a Cornish cross unless there is a giant red sub species. Just wondering as he is very rust/coppery in color and not as red. Maybe you guys in your vast experience can provide some insight. (sorry for the foraging pics he was being very camera shy.)
 
They're all hatchery RIRs (technically Production Reds). The white legs come from when the hatchery mixes Orps into the lines for size and temperament.
 
You're welcome, chickens come in a dizzying array of types, it can get confusing. Any kind of Cornish has a very wide stance, and huge yellow elephant legs that are hard to miss. If you ever want a Cornish male, look for something that appears like a tank with a chicken suit on
