I read the list (and the entire site!) when it was bright yellow. I liked the bright yellow too...

The name of the fear of long words is funny, it is Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. The name itself would strike terror in the heart of the Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobe.

I read the list (and the entire site!) when it was bright yellow. I liked the bright yellow too...

The name of the fear of long words is funny, it is Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. The name itself would strike terror in the heart of the Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobe.

Yeah aint that the truth? Striking fear in the heart of someone with that condition? I mean.. really? They couldnt think of a shorter name for it?

Bacteriophobia-Fear of bacteria, I constantly sanatize my hands, and car, and house and 2yr old DD...

Aghephobia - fear of touching or being touched. I really hate for people to touch me, one time I wigged out on a lady in the restroom who came out of a stall and went for my daughter who at the time was 3 months old! I literally screamed at her "DON'T TOUCH MY BABY"

Autophobia - fear of being alone. I hate being alone...

Demophobia - fear of crowds. This goes back to the whole scared of bacteria thing, and I just pretty much don't like big crowds

Galeophobia- fear of sharks. this is a major major fear, every where I go that is coastal a shark shows up, my brother had to very calmly get me out of the water a month ago when a shark started swimming around us while we snorkeld... I didn't know it was there until we got out and then I felt really really sick... My actual nick name is Sharkbait...

Lilapsophobia - fear of tornadoes. I lived in Tx and Ok... I have a legit reason...

Lygophobia - fear of darkness. Yes... I am...

Microbiophobia - fear of microbes. Yep, another one of those...

Misophobia - fear of dirt. You shoudln't need and explanation by now...

Novercaphobia - fear of your step-mother or mother-in-law. bahahahaha

Panthophobia - fear of disease. Do you really need and explanation?

Spermophobia - fear of germs. Wow...

Syngeneophobia - fear of relatives. Aren't we all???

Where is the phobia for chalk??!?! I can't touch chalk, or even see someone touch it... I used to walk out of class if they used chalk, all of my classes had to be fixed so they used marker boards... Don't ask me why, beucase I don;t know...
 
You know, now I'm thinking maybe I should seriously see a doc lol Thanks a lot!!! I knew I was high-strung, but geez louise c'mon...
