Because he is slowly turning from black to white! It sped up a lot during his last molt. I'm thinking He's going to be more white than black by the time his molt ends! Vinny is only about 15 months old. Can you imagine him at 4 years old! With the way he's going, I think he'll be all white by then!

I don't think I have any photos of Vinny before he started getting his white feathers. I adopted him when he was 8 months old and he already had a couple white ones on his chest. I have a few from when he was little, but I don't seem to have any from when he was just a coup[le months old... I'll have to look again....

I swear he's getting whiter and whiter everyday! He's even starting to get white feathers on his head. He's still growing feathers from his molt, so we'll see what he looks like in a week. lol
