Apple Cider Vinegar & geese?

I've read alot of people are putting ACV in their Chicken waterers. Just wondering if anyone does this for geese? I use a horse water bucket for their water(in addition to a pool) but i didn't know since they dip their heads in it if it would it hurt their nostrils or eyes or anything else?

I've read SOMEWHERE on the Geese form that people do use Apple Cider Vinegar- something about a "mother" brand?
(I'm a first time goose owner so I'm going back & reading previous posts on this forum to get as much info as possible. Makes for good reading!!) I think some people put it in their goose pools to control algae growth.. I also read that some people used it for health reasons for their geese.
