So why ACV in their water? What is the exact purpose of adding it to their water? What does it do? I know that I use it to clean the coop, but what is the point in putting it in their water? I'd like to read any articles that support this. Thank you.

No idea why folks say it helps with worms. It does nothing against a worm infestation. It helps somewhat with gut and crop pH and has anti-fungal properties, plus vitamins and minerals.

I myself use ACV in hot water with honey added to make a tea when I have severe cold.

A friend told me about it, just a couple of tablespoons of the organic unfiltered ACV with "the mother" in it added to a cup of hot water, sweeten with honey and sip that. It did help quite a bit! I rarely have terrible colds, but I sure needed a remedy then.

My hens started laying better since I've added ACV to their water.
