I’ve read that Apple cider vinegar added to the chicken’s water is good for them. At what age, (mine are two-week old chicks), and what ratio? (1tsp per gallon?)

I do not use it, but many peeps do. The 1tsp/gal is correct. Offer it once per week, and also have fresh water besides it as well. Most peeps that give it to their chickens, do when chickens are slightly sick or have such issues. I personally do not see a benefit of giving it to healthy chickens. JMO... Others may have different views, and ideas.

I used ACV one tsp per water drinker every day for a week as two of my girls sounded a bit ‘throaty’ they didn’t have a couple and were otherwise fin
I wanted to make sure both girls got the ACV so all girls drank it!
one week later no rumbling throats , could be a coincidence could be the ACV not sure but it’s good to do something when you’re worried
