When using apple cider vinegar with Mother does it matter if you use filtered or raw unfiltered?

Am I reading correctly that you are using Milk of Magnesia? Why?

ACV is always best for chickens, and people, in the raw state. I usually use Braggs but the store was out so I bought another brand and will try it.
