Apples-i should know this but gonna ask?

My flock likes apples.

I usually toss them out while or give ‘em a “boot stomp” to open them up. The “toy” idea is a good one for entertainment value - for you and the flock.

Don’t worry about the seeds...you couldn’t poison you chickens with apple seeds if you tried.

I give my flock the scraps after making apple cider. If I can’t kill my flock with the seeds from 5-10 bushels of apples at a time, yours should be fine with the seeds from 3 lbs. :D

I found 3 lb bag apples for 87 cents. Haven't tried my birds with apples.
Do chickens like/eat apples?
If so hang whole apple and let them play? Dice? Chunk?
I know the seeds are dangerous-deseed or not enough seed to hurt the birds?
Sometimes, I get a brainfart and just don't remember/know.
Guess I'm showing my age-I can't remember everything from 40 yrs ago. Thanks for everyone's help and opinions
Mine love apples i hang mine so they can play i have a spike that i shove through the apple and just let it swing they love it

Ohhh that sounds like fun. I gave tiny bits of apple and cucumber to the babies. They seemed to enjoy it. Actually while on the subject, don't know if it's cause they are babies and getting used to different flavours, but my babies are being a bit picky. So didn't touch the tomato, blueberries, cabbage leaf or red berries! Do you just have to keep trying? However they loved the cob of the corns and the apple and cucumber....so just keep trying them?
