Applying Candle Wax to Cracked Egg during Incubation.

I'm so excited to find this thread! I have 15 eggs in the bator and noticed 2 small cracks when candling on day 3. One of them is invisible to the naked eye, and the other is very small. Neither seem to have damaged the membrane. It is day 9 now and all eggs are developing beautifully so I will try the candle wax and let you know the results!

Thank you for all these stories! It's a big help. My daughter raced home to save eggs for me as a result of a power out.
She grabbed the incubator and tossed it in the car but many eggs rolled and cracked. They were on day 7. Eek!
She then repaired with candle wax what she could. After all this, if they survive, it'll be a miracle. Here's to miracles!
