Applying farm implement enamel over POR15 coating?

I have an old horse trailer that I'm gutting and turning into a mobile chicken coop to haul around my farm. My hope is to not need to mess with the paint again, so I'm wire wheel/flappy disking basically everything, removing all loose paint, rust bubbles, etc. Then I intend to coat everything with POR15, it's a product I've used before and I've been happy with the results. I however have not coated over the top of it in anything other than the POR15 topcoat, which does not come in colors I'd like to paint the trailer. The rustoleum or krylon farm implement paints seem like they would go on relatively easily and provide a durable finish, but they don't have the rust conversion properties of POR15. In my mind the best solution is to POR15 the areas that need it, then coat everything with the farm implement paint. The instructions for the farm implement enamels specify painting them over bare metal, but I have to assume that it will also stick to POR15 that's been prepped. Just wanted some other input from anyone who might have experience with these products.

A DTM paint (direct to metal paint) is going to be very similar to the POR15 Top Coat if you're trying to get color. I'd use one of those vs Rustoleum/oil-based enamel, because it's all water cleanup and no solvents, etc.
