I believe my little chicks are somewhere between a week to two weeks old. Is it okay to start feeding them scraps and are there any specific no-nos? Thanks!

Yes, it is OK. I would keep treats chopped up small enough so they don't choke on it. Keep it to less than 10% of their diet.
They can have anything you can have, but I would not give mine avocado or anything I would think of a unhealthful for them like a lot of fat, salt, etc.

Also if they are eating more than just starter, then you will need to supply grit so they can digest the treats.

You might find it at a feed store, maybe not in a small quantity.
Maybe in a pet store as well, just make sure it is not supplemented with extra calcium. That can be hard on their kidneys.
You can also use coarse sand.

try shredded cheese!! they will love it! but remember to give them some grit or sand as someone has suggested, to help them grind it up and digest it correctly

also you can do worms, crickets

omg you are going to be laughing so hard when giving them treats!!chick rugby or keep away!! i am laughing just thinking about it
