Appx. age to process Bouron Red turkeys???

I am interested in processing a Bourbon R. for thanksgiving BUT can't find answer for age to process. I BELIEVE someone mentioned 30 wks. but can anyone here confirm that?

8-9 months. I process when the live weight is around 20+ lbs. Did this last year and the birds dressed out nicely about 15 lbs.

Thanks-30 wks was possibly doable but guess I will have to plan on doing it NEXT year if it takes that much longer.(as I don't have a turkey currently!)

Industry says 6 months but you should probably give them 8-9 months. Bourbon reds grow slower than other heritage breeds.
