Im down to 5, maybe 6, eggs and number 6 keeps peeping at me!

. I have all 6 eggs in half of a styrofoam egg carton in my bator and Ive been shing my flashlight in and I can sort of see the ones that are moving and number 6 is kicking like crazy! So far the only other internal pip appears to be 9# but im not sure if it has internally pipped or not. Oh for crying out loud why cant they be here already!!! Its driving me NUTS!!!!!!!!!

they started cheeping last night and hatching early this morning and have been going non-stop since I have 40 eggs in there and I can't really see very good I'm hating that I can't open it until tomorrow night or Wed morning it's a noisy bunch in there

So your basically gonna brag about all of your chicks and not even post a single pic??? What the heck is wrong with you man???

I am looking in the "forbidden blow hole" I think I might take babies out tomorrow night really I shouldn't till Wed am but I'm thinking that there isn't going to be very many unhatched eggs soon pretty good for a 39.00 incubator....

Dang. What kind of incbator is it?
Update: Well for every Muscovy egg I get the ducklings are unable to externally pip (probably cuz they cant get the correct position) and they suffocate

. Well I lost number 6 yesterday and it looks like 4 quit and possibly number 7 although it still has veins (the original 6 were #s 1-8 but 1,2, and 5 quit early). The others internally pipped last night and I know I shouldn't have but I poked a small air hole for those 3 (please do not get mad at me for that. I DO NOT want these guys to suffocate), boosted the humidity, and wet their membranes. It looks like #3 has its head upside down so... But those 3 are active and moving around so hopefully they will hatch by tonight. Sheesh I never had this problem with chicks. I'm guessing its because their moms are young duck and not laying big enough eggs yet so the babies cant move around enough to be able to externally pip.

Update: 7 quit and I was down to two eggs and one hatched and the other is still working on it. I'm disappointed but I'm extremely proud to announce that egg #3 which is the one that has hatched is a lilac pied

I'm glad that the one egg that's managed to hatch so far is a color you're excited about!

I have 8 Bantam Cochin eggs in the 'bator hatching right now. I have pips in 5 of them, and I can hear their high-pitched little peeps!
