The batch of Cochin eggs I was waiting on had a rough trip, and the air cells are a disaster in half of them.

At least that means I'll have room in the 'bator for swap eggs: I'm in, e-mail's been sent!

Thanks - they were coming from Pennsylvania to Wisconsin, and for some reason the Postal Service sent them all the way from PA to Orlando, Florida for two days, before they came all the way back north to me in WI!

It looks like I have 6 eggs left out of the batch that might be viable - so we'll see.

I finally got my neighbor interested in chickens and he's going to pick up an incubator next week - I might have to swap another batch of my eggs to get some for him to test out...

EDIT: - No response to my e-mail yet...I do hope our hostess is just busy, and I didn't mess up and send my e-mail to the wrong address or anything...

I think BYC gets offended when I put A pril. Look at the title its supposed to say A pril not BYC
ETA- I reported it and now it will say A pril
