I wish I'd known I was going to be hatching chicks I would have saved our peeps boxes from easter. That is a very cute idea!!


waiting for chick 2,3,4 to hatch they have pipped now I am hoping to see at least one of them hatching out so I can catch it on video.. would be good if all 3 hatch before I hit the hay. So far a few other eggs have rocked but no pips or peeps.

there was two peeps left in a box and i dont like peeps. So i went over to my dads house and told him to eat the last two. He was happy to do so, He loves peeps.

I just put 3 marans eggs into lockdown tonight. I only saw one (the cracked one) move during the final candling, which is good. But it seemed strange that the other 2 eggs had a good sized air cell, but no space below them on the pointy end. Is this normal? Isn't there supposed to be space on both sides to give them room to turn as well as air to breath

? Hopefully they hatch alright. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens
