Apron's for Hens

I know how long they actually stay on...around thirty seconds, think that is the record here.
As to how long you're supposed to, until the factor that is causing her damage is no longer causing it.
If it is rooster wear and he just favors her tremendously then you need to think past the hen apron and examine your roo's nails.
The apron would stay on until she's healed in that case.
I'm talking skin wise, once the skin looks nice and the roo's nails are blunt you'd remove the apron and apply sunscreen daily until she's refeatherd.
Nothing fancy or smelly, just plain old zinc oxide sunscreen.:)

I was wondering how long a person leaves an apron on a Hen?
Might depend on why she's wearing it and other factors as well.

Welcome to BYC @Danbot-Hallow!
More info on why the apron is needed would help........and....
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!
