Arauacana chickens

My two Araucanas are about 8 mos old and have been laying for almost two months . They are laying regularly but the size of their pretty blue and pink eggs are very small. Much maller than any eggs I have gotten from having Araucanas before . I did get one very large pink one a few weeks ago that was a double yoke ! why the variation in sizes ?

They're "young" layers, think they normally lay medium sized eggs (I maybe wrong). It takes a while for their system to get it's self worked out and "mature". Would love to see a pic of your girls & their eggs
