Araucana chicks hatched .. WOOHOO Pics

I was unbelievably lucky and blessed to win eggs from Hinkjc, and chose Araucana. They hatched a couple days ago. I am super excited. I ended up with 5 chicks, so I am thinking that is a nice start into the Araucana world with the chance at some quality chickens considering the stock they came from. Thank you ever so much Jodi.

Thanks all, I am super excited about these babies, I have wanted to start with Araucanas for quite some time, I just had to wait till school and many other obligations were met. Now momma-time.

Thanks Jodi for letting me know what I have. I'll be taking more pics as they grow, and see who gets what as fars as tufts etc.

If they had tuffs you could see them

Araucana chicks have tuffs from day one. If your wanting to keep with the breed standards and plan on breeding I'd cull the ones with tails

its sad but the best thing to do for the breed if you ever whan to get SQ

tuffs from day one, and still some what wet
