Araucana Rooster?

I got this Rooster off of Craigslist for free. He was from an older couple who didn’t want a rooster, but didn’t want him eaten either. They said they bought the chicks from a hatchery and that the hens are laying green eggs. He has a tail and doesn’t have the ear tufts I’m seeing when I look up ‘Araucana’

online. It’s not important, but it would be nice to know for sure who I have in my barnyard!

Lovely Easter Egger roo. They may have mistaken Araucana for Ameraucana. Very common mistake. He is not either one. Congratulations on your new, beautiful boy!

He looks part EE and half Gray Game. I used to have quite a few Lewis bloodline Grays. Great birds!
