I can't seem to find images for silver aracaunas. Does anyone have them?
Another question... are what color/pattern are Bunny Fu Fu and And The Bandit?

I am not sure about the rules with this thread or the best way to find out this information, but I am looking for local chicks or hatching eggs of pure Araucanas.

I am located in Bucks County Pennsylvania. Willing to drive if needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am in Washington state and I had to order mine. I used Chicken Scratch Poultry. The lady I dealt with was great, Angie is her name.

araucana.net has a compilation of a few breeders.

Most big hatcheries dont have true araucana's and feed mills and tractor supply co have EE labelled incorrectly.
Check the araucana.net to find the apa standards and see if theres anyone on there who has got what youre looking for. Ive been til best times for eggs and chicks are fall and spring so not many people are selli selling right now.

I can find them in shipping distance (I purchased eggs due to hatch tomorrow) but I am looking for local birds that I wouldn't have to have shipped. In case these eggs do not hatch and to get new blood without the stress of shipping.

Wow...um, ive never heard of that before. I didn't think it was possible since they need a high humidity and consistent temps. The jostling during shipping, suffocating in packing material if they pip early... I dunno how well that's gonna work. Anyone with experience know?

No. Fertilized eggs are also referred to as "hatching eggs". They are shipped prior to incubation.

I cant decide if that post sounds how I meant it to sound (concerned but curious) or if it sounds harsh. It was not meant to be harsh so if it seems so please disregard the tone. Was not meant that way.

Angie is also a breeder, not a mega farm supply store. If you Google chicken scratch poultry you'll find them.
