Araucana thread anyone?

Glad your project is moving along smoothmule! My bantam ameraucanas are looking awesome and I am getting my third generation on my LF ameraucanas going already.

I am looking for some Araucana Hatching eggs. I'd prefer some from the West Coast for now, but I'm open to whatever I can get.

Anyone care to guess the sex? Purchased as pullets, a couple months old.

Brown & white one is a rooster. Does the blue/gray one have a three row comb?

I'm not really sure what comb the blue one has. ::/ its still flat with what appears to be bumps but not in rows.

Then probably a pullet. You have a pair of Easter eggers !

So if it is tufted and rumpless but does not have the correct comb, eg pea comb, that makes them EE's?

Araucana "breeders" will tell you they are not the correct color (the pullet may be) so they are Easter eggers.

But I have some clean faced rumpless araucanas that lay blue eggs but are not the proper color. I call mine pet quality Araucanas.
