When feeling for tail bones, is there an actual divide between the hips when they're completely rumpless? I have 17 I can't tell if they're rumpless or incomplete rumpless. One definitely has a tail, so he's not being counted

I guess ill just mark how many are definitely rumpless and how many don't have a full tail and just watch as they develop. When would be a good time to start checking on their tail growth when they're older ?

I would start as soon as possible and keep the record. some of them get a partial tail early.

His siblings all have completely fluff covered heads

No luck this year for local Araucanas in CA. Wanted to get black Araucanas. Tough finding black Ameraucanas as well.
