Uhg I hate it when this happens - the waiting can be sheer torture!!!! Were you able to candle the eggs to see if they were developing? Good luck with your hatch.

I have my first chick hatching out of my white double tufted roos pen. It is hatching out of my really dark teal egg. Yippee. The hen is lt barred, and the chick looks to be dark grey, so wondering if it is going to be barred and if so, is it a roo cause the mom was barred and she gives the color to the males, and the roo gives the color to the females. Right.

I have been waiting for a barred roo. I hope its dark.
