How do you stop it?Ahahaha, yea, Puddin Fluff, I'd say they are. Mine go after each others tufts from time to time, they are relentless like they are jealous of the other bird's tufts or something.

That's always the way, isn't it? Arg!I went out last night to close up birds and fill feeders and found the tufted chick dead so it looks like I might be looking for a tufted bird later this fall, would prefer BBR but could also use cuckoo
They are now out in the pen with the flock, I am hopeing the older girls give them some schooling. She is my ONLY Aracana girl, I also have one male that may be in on the game as well. I am thinking of isolating them at night as it seem they do most of it when penned up. Do you think it will help?Birds that peck relentlessly at each other will pass on the gene. I have ruthlessly removed all such birds from my breeding pool and now have few problems. With Polish, one cannot afford to tolerate the behavior. If this is not a favorite bird, don't keep her. If a chick does this, cull it. If you can't bear to do this, try fresh grass in the brooder, more room, and no white lights (use red) to decrease the tendency to pick.
Congratulations. Part of the rules of this group is you have to post pictures. Just kidding, but would love to see pics.I got a TRUE Araucana today! He is beautiful, I can hear him outside crowing now.
A lady I know that breeds them gave me a pair, I am thrilled!!![]()
