Arauracana roo over C. Maran?

Does anyone know if a Araurcana roo over a cuckoo maran will produce darker eggs or a diff color egg?

Cuckoo Marans rarely lay very dark eggs from what I understand, so you may not get a true olive. You should get a nice shade of green though.

I think I will try it again and see if I can get a hen. I have a roo Aracauna over my maran hen and only 1 hatched this spring and it was a roo. My maran actually does lay pretty dark eggs. Not as dark as the french, but a very rich color. Thanks for all the comments. It is very fascinating!
