I just got 2 cuckoo marans, 1 gold laced Wyandotte, and 1 buckeye chick. Are any of these chicks sex linked?
Thanks all

The cuckoo marans can be :) but often waiting until they start to feather is mosg accurate.

None are sex linked. Sex link is when two different breeds or varieties are bred together to produce chicks that can be sexed by sight at hatch.
Autosexing is when a breed/variety breeds true for offspring that can be sexed by sight at hatch.
Yes cuckoo marans in theory can be sexed at hatch by they difference in the headspots.
I raised them for a bit and found with mine it wasn't near as easy or reliable as with barred rocks.
And yes once they start feathering in you should be able to tell.
The GLW would also be able to be sexed after it feathers in since the males and females have different patterns. It will take longer on it then the marans.
I've never had buckeyes but you'll be out of luck with any early tells with it I'm afraid.
