Black is all I know-when the sun hits their feathers, it makes a gorgeous green sheen on them(called beetle green).

My australorps are my FAVORITE birds. Very kind, sweet, always hops up on the ladder to greet me. My australorp roo doesn't crow much and is very protective of his girls.

We got 4 BA's last spring, lay great all winter, great FUN personalities. If they want attention, they are underfoot! Since they were chicks they were the first ones to race to us to get some petting. We just got 5 more straight-run and are hoping for 1 Roo & 4 pullets.
