Are black sex links nice?

The website that I showed earlier with the list says "Guaranteed females unless otherwise specified in breed menu"

Out of this list, which ones lay the most legs and are the friendliest?

If they’re guaranteed females, then if you get a male they will likely take it back.
That is what their hen guarantee says. They say they will take the rooster back and match it with a hen or the same breed and age or as close as possible. If you can't do the return at that time they will give you store credit.

All are good producers. If you want birds with normal lifespans, avoid the Sexlinks. If you like the idea of pretty azure eggs, go with some Easter Eggers. Brown Leghorns lay white, and are the best producers on the list, but can be nervous and flighty.
White rocks, Black J Giants, Delawares, are good layers of brown eggs.
I personally would go with these:
EEs, (blue eggs, good producers sweet, any color plumage)
Black JGs, (Cream tan eggs, good layer, sweet, glossy black plumage)
Delawares (brown eggs, sweet, good layer, white with black neck and tail speckles)
White Rocks (light brown eggs, good layer, sweet, white plumage)

Maybe category:
New Hamp. Reds :
Red Sexlinks are sold under this name often.
Brown Leghorns: AWESOME producers, but like I said, flighty.

Bessie is my black sex link who is about 2- 1/2 years old. Very friendly, laid back with new chickens being introduced and has just started to slow down from 5-6 eggs a week to 3-4. So far no reproductive issues and shes been healthy but her eggs have become larger as she ages and not as pretty so I assume it's a matter of time before she starts fading out. I had a red sexlink I got with her and after a year and a half I had to cull her because she was falling apart with something always wrong with her; though she did lay 6-7 eggs a week without fail for almost a year straight before she faded out. It's easier to cull than to see them disintegrate before your eyes.
If you go into it knowing that the sex link may not have a long life then I think if you want one then get it. Just like my cane corso, I know they only live around 10-12 years and won't live as long as my toy poodle who is now 15 but I got my cane corso anyways and I'll love her for how ever long she lives.
