Are Blue Legs Dominant?

Thanks.

Will a sebright pass its blue legs on to its offspring, if crossed with a Rhode Island red bantam?

Blue legs ( caused by dermal melanin) is a recessive sex linked trait. Female (sebright) will not pass the trait to the males that have a RIR father. The RIR has a dominant gene that will prevent the blue legs from being expressed. All the chicks will have white legs because they all inherited the dominant gene from the father (RIR)

Male (sebright) will pass the recessive gene to all of his offspring in the cross. Only females will have blue legs ( they only need one recessive gene). Males will have white legs ( see above explanation).
