Are breed characteristics of standards the same in the bantam variety?

Chicken newbie here. In trying to figure out what breed(s) of bantams to buy for our backyard I've been looking at Henderson's chicken chart, and wondering if the traits he describes are the same for both standards and bantams. For example, Ameracaunas are given a "4-egg" rating for laying medium-sized eggs. Does that mean the bantam variety is also a prolific layer, with a medium (for a bantam) sized egg? May seem like a dumb question, I just want to make sure.

not necessarily as bantams are bred for looks first. Production is just an extra you get. Most bantams lay a small size egg on a regular basis but never what a hen chosen for production will do.

I have a couple of bantam RIR hens who lay regularly, but their eggs are small to medium.

Another thing, is that broodiness is bred out of the standard production RIR hen, but not the banties. My little girls are broody a lot so I don't need an incubator.
