i have two...they are the top dogs so to speak in my flock. they are not too nice on those who happen to be elsewhere in the hierarchy...
esp. they are mean to my two newest hens,who are BA and BAxEE and are bigger than the BLs are.
they are skittish and shy. they do not like to be touched. they are excellent foragers. they lay well--every other day l at the least. they took a long break from october to february (we don't have lights). they are pretty and their small size makes it easy to have more hens in a given roost space.
good luck...there are things i like about mine, but i also consider getting rid of them because they are so bossy and mean to the others and so hard to catch.
