right now im at a loss of chickens. i recently found out half of my "pullets" were cockerels. we gave them away to a local farm as a donation. the shipping costs for pullets are too high for my state (ive got up to 90 dollars for shipping once). we kept one rooster so our buff chocin could get broody and lay more chicks. we also have a few RIRs but people say they arent that good at being a mother (correct me if i am wrong). i was wondering if buff chocins are great chick mothers.
