Are call ducks terribly noisy?

We have a male mallard call and he has a very soft voice. His mate is a Muscovy and they are inseparable. They live in the coop and attached pen with our 7 nine week old Pekins and 16 hens. They free range during the day and do very well together. Drakes are much quieter than females like the above people have said.

They are small, they are adorable and will drive you to the madhouse on some days. I have no neighbors to worry about or I could not keep them. On occasion, I wonder why I do. If you want Call ducks...go for drakes because they are at least quiet. Good luck.
