Talk about nutso today! We had an older gal somehow break into the unbreakable other half of our coop with fencing nailed to 2 x 4's, with the chicks (think, breaking INTO Alcatraz!) today... just so she could flap high up on top of a stored garbage bag full of chips - her favorite place in the whole world - to lay an egg!
This meant the chicks were so worried they went out their little trap door and were waiting in the rain until "the dinosaur" left...luckily, no one was hurt.
