I really want to get chickens but do not know if I'm allowed and also am having trouble getting my parents convinced.

One thing that may help get your parents on-board, is to learn all you can about chickens so they know you will take good care of them and assure them you will be the one doing the daily chores chickens require. Parents like to know they aren't going to be the ones taking care of their kid's animals (I speak from experience, lol).

Good luck and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Ok thanks and I have aquatic turtles and take good care of them and would have to say they seem harder to take care of than chickens . Is it true that if chickens eat their own poop they disease the eggs?
