Are chickens friends with Rabbits?

I would like to put my rabbit in with my chickens but i don't know if the chickens will hurt the rabbit. Has anyone or does any one know if you can put your rabbit with your chickens for a short period of time with supervision?

Rabbits can get coccidiosis from chickens and it's much more serious in rabbits than it is in chickens. I never let my rabbits run in the chicken pen.

It works well for me. I put our evil bunny in the chicken run to play several times a week. The chickens are scared to death of him

He might eat a little flock raiser or scratch, dig a few holes, but other than that...no harm done at all.

I've seen it done on numerous occasions. You do have to watch for illness but honestly, if one gets sick, the others will as well. Animal husbandry hasn't been an exact science since adam and eve first spoke to the serpent...
