Are Coturnix and Jumbo Coturnix Quails the Same?

I keep hearing about the Jumbo Coturnix Quail and i was wondering if they are just talking about any Coturnix Quails? Thanks!

Color wise they are the same but jumbos are a bit bigger.
Mine are just a bit heavier in weight.

Jumbos are like the name implies the jumbo version.

a good example that I can think of is

Coturnix is the species
Jumbo is one of the varieties (in this case a size)
Pharoah is the wild version (in size and color)
annnd

Brown
Tuxedo
Golden (speckled, manchurian)
A & M
English White
Tibetan (british range)
etc etc are just more varieties (in this case colors, and every color can be either jumbo or wild type in size

But more often than not, Browns are the Jumbos... and if you're lucky as are A & Ms

jumbo's can be double the size of Pharaoh's. Close to a pound live weight in 10 weeks
