are dominiques quiet?

Hello!,
I would like to know more about this breed! I want to get chickens and im finding a good breed. Are they quiet? are they common or rare? would they do well in Maumee,Ohio USA? And I have a Toy Poodle that chases squirrels,birds, and rabbits.. Do they do well with small dogs..
