are douglass fir shavings ok?

So i went to my feed store yesterday to grab my usual bag of shavings and he didnt have them but said this other bag was similar so i grabbed it without thinking cause i need to change my gets bedding out today. So before i change the bedding, is douglass okay to use? they are bigger flakes that i normally get which is kinda nice cause no matter what i do my girls peck at the ground i attached a photo of the bag of them
